Pritzker Prize winning Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer turns 100 today (15 December)! And he still takes an active interest in architecture. What an accomplishment! Niemeyer known for his sculptural structures such as the Cathedral of Brasilia (top extreme left), is often called the architect of the city of Brasilia. He also designed the Serpentine Gallery in London in 2003.

 Happy Birthday Oscar!
